Refund Policy

1. Overview
At Novion, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This refund policy explains your rights and our procedures for subscriptions and program purchases.
2. Subscription Refunds (Pro/Elite Tiers)
2.1 Free Trial Period
All paid subscription plans (Pro and Elite) include a 7-day free trial. This trial period is your opportunity to evaluate Novion risk-free before being charged.
- During Trial: Cancel anytime with no charge
- After Trial: Your payment method will be charged automatically
- Trial Eligibility: One trial per user account
2.2 No Refunds After Trial
IMPORTANT: Once your trial ends and you are charged, subscription fees are non-refundable. Your 7-day trial is your evaluation period.
- Monthly subscriptions: No refunds or prorated credits
- Annual subscriptions: No refunds or prorated credits
2.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Upon cancellation:
- You retain access until the end of your current billing period
- No refund is provided for the current billing cycle
- Your subscription will not renew automatically
2.4 Exceptions
Refunds for subscriptions may be granted only in the following circumstances:
- Billing Errors: Duplicate charges or incorrect amounts
- Technical Failures: Extended service outages preventing access
- Unauthorized Charges: Charges made without your authorization
3. Coaching Subscription Refunds
3.1 Coaching Subscriptions Are Non-Refundable
Coaching subscriptions (Elite Basic, Elite Plus, and Elite Unlimited) are non-refundable once the billing period has started. This is consistent with standard SaaS industry practice, as coaching subscriptions provide immediate access to platform coaching tools and client management features.
- Elite Basic (billed via App Store/Google Play): Refund requests must be submitted to Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.
- Elite Plus / Elite Unlimited (billed via Stripe): No refunds or prorated credits are provided after the billing period begins.
3.2 Cancellation vs. Refund
Canceling your coaching subscription is not the same as requesting a refund. When you cancel:
- Your coaching features remain active until the end of your current billing period
- No refund is issued for the remaining time in the billing period
- Your subscription will not renew at the end of the period
3.3 Effect on Coaching Clients
If a coaching subscription is canceled or refunded:
- Active client relationships continue until the end of the current billing period
- After the billing period ends, coaching features are deactivated and clients lose access to coaching services provided by that coach
- Coaches are responsible for notifying their clients of the cancellation and assisting with any necessary transition
- Client fitness and health data remains in their own accounts and is not affected by the coach's subscription status
3.4 Exceptions
Refunds for coaching subscriptions may be granted only in the following limited circumstances:
- Billing Errors: Duplicate charges or incorrect billing amounts
- Technical Failures: Extended platform outages that prevented access to coaching features for a material portion of the billing period
- Unauthorized Charges: Charges made without the account holder's authorization
4. Program & Meal Plan Purchase Refunds
4.1 Refund Eligibility
Creator-made fitness programs are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase if both of the following conditions are met:
- Purchased less than 14 days ago
- Less than 25% of program workouts completed
4.2 Requesting a Refund
To request a refund for a program purchase, please contact our refund team:

Include in your request:
- Your account email address
- Program name and purchase date
- Reason for refund request
4.3 Refund Review Process
Our support team will review your request within 1-2 business days. We will verify:
- Days since purchase (must be <14 days)
- Completion percentage (must be <25%)
- Purchase history and account standing
4.4 Approved Refunds
If your refund is approved:
- Full refund issued to original payment method
- Funds appear in 5-7 business days
- Program access revoked immediately
- All workout progress for that program is retained for your records
4.5 Denied Refunds
Refund requests will be denied if:
- More than 14 days have passed since purchase
- More than 25% of workouts have been completed
- Account has 3 or more refunds in the past 12 months (abuse prevention)
- Evidence of content downloading or unauthorized sharing
5. Star Content Deletions
If a Star deletes a program you purchased:
- Within 30 days of purchase: Eligible for prorated refund based on completion
- After 30 days: No refund (you had reasonable access period)
- Your workout data and progress are preserved
6. Refund Processing
6.1 Timeline
- Review: 1-2 business days
- Processing: 1-3 business days
- Bank/Card Posting: 3-5 business days
- Total: 5-10 business days from approval
6.2 Refund Method
All refunds are issued to the original payment method. We cannot issue refunds to different payment methods or accounts.
7. Fraudulent Activity
Novion reserves the right to refuse refunds or suspend accounts if we detect:
- Pattern of abuse (multiple refunds across accounts)
- Content theft (downloading, recording, or sharing program content)
- Account sharing or unauthorized access
- False or misleading refund claims
Accounts engaged in fraudulent activity may be permanently banned without refund.
8. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company (chargeback) without first contacting us:
- Your account will be immediately suspended
- All program access will be revoked
- You may be charged chargeback fees
- Future purchases may be restricted

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Novion after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
